Remember Frederick's Music Lounge? I miss the joint. Tim Fowler and Lil' Pete (of I Start Fires, Morgante's Dogs and Lee Harvey Oswald & Fifth Floor Fistfuckers fame) both entered Fred's band scramble and kicked butt with the three week old band "Ginger Vs. Maryanne". It was a ton of fun. Tim & Pete decided to get a band together. After trying out a few guitarists, notables Johnny from the The Rowdy Cum Lowdies but he didn't dig it (we had shitload of problems figuring out Jimmy Jazz by The Clash, not Johnny's fault). Jessie, this one former KDHX dj but their was personality conflicts; same with Mark Vickroy of The Perverts fame. We all know Lil' Pete can be an asshole. Soon enough the band solidified into it's current core members of Andy "Butters" Sturm (he hates being called Butters but it's a good story. Ask Lil' Pete about it one day) on guitar and the mighty Shawn O' Dead on keyboards. Melding various influences of punk and classic rock, goth and a general love of underground music, you've got one of the most dynamic up and coming bands in St. Louis.
