Uh, did I say that I like Rock? Various types of it too - The Goo's, HINDER (FUCKIN AWESOME!!!), The Crave, Vega 4 and Bryan Adams to Drugdealer Cheerleader (Long awaited 1st album out end of June - get it!), Crowning Glory (check em out NOW!), Metallica and Marilyn Manson. Have a huge place in my heart for the old Glam/cheesey Rock type stuff like Bon Jovi, Little Angels, Kiss, Poison, Aerosmith. Absolutely LOVING the awesome music coming out of the UK at the mo (Fratellis, Kasabian, Klaxtons, Kaisers, The View, Razorlight...) - SO great to have decent proper music here again, and at such a brilliant quality and quantity too! Am defo a very happy camper right now! And similar awesome music coming from the States too. LOVE the Killers! It's all guuuud! Also like a bit of hick - Keith Urban in particular - phwoar!!!! And of course I love the old classic Blues and Soul - ahh, Sam Cooke!
Fave ever has gotta be Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. Hilarious and I like that song in it too! Love the classic brat pack flicks, especially The Breakfast club. Shawshank Redemption, Sin City, House of flying daggers, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, Fight Club, Memento...anything with Guy Pearce, Edward Norton, Johnny Depp, (serious) Jim Carrey, Anthony Hopkins, Brad Pitt in - and not cuz some people think some of them are hot! Cuz they're damn fine Actors. Anything by Tarantino. I also love stupid comedy's like Wayne's World and Bill and Ted. Chick flicks are ok too. And also enjoy the odd serious Psycho thriller. Can't beat the Nightamre on Elm street movies for pure entertainment though!
PRISON BREAK!!! Religiously! Other than that I don't really watch much TV but when I do I am a sucker for US sitcoms - Friends, Frasier, Cheers, Will and Grace, Seinfeld. All time fave has to be Due South. Why oh why did they axe it, and why did it have the ending like that?????!! :0(. Also sports - NHL, F1, NBA, NFL, Footy. Not baseball tho - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!
Totally loved Toni Morrisson's Beloved. Why the heck did she let Oprah make a movie of it?! The Alchemist is another fave, also Veronika decides to die - that was very cool. Things fall apart (can't recall authour. is that how you spell Authour?) And of course Harry Potter! And anything by Stephen King! Ooh, and Matthew Jackson's Canada Chronicles!
Tough one. Hmmm, prob say Joan of Arc! Fiesty bird who died for what she believed in. Living heroes - First and foremost has gotta be our dear Old Git Mr A (Bryan Adams) and the boys, then defo The Goo's, Keith Urban, Steven Tyler, Sebastian Bach, and Gene Simmons - the true gods of rock! But more realistically, and importantly - my true heroes are normal everyday people who are kind and decent to each other - that's pretty rare these days, and for that, those people are defo heroes to me! Cheesy, but darn true!
