I'm a southern girl and darn proud of it! I'm living in LA now, enjoying the warm weather, palm trees, and smog. I've definetely adapted to all that is California: soy everything, organic and fresh not fried, hot tea not sweet, the beach in january, pilates, and yoga. I'm so blessed to be making it out here pursuing my dream. I couldn't do it w/o God who provided me the most encouraging church family at Bel Air Pres and my Wed night Bible Study. Most of all, my girls core group (now college freshman woo hoo!!). I love being on youth staff at my church! I went on a mission trip to Seattle with the high school in July last year. 2 years ago I went to Brazil! I am looking forward to trekking down the Amazon again this summer! I love WYAM and talking to homeless people about their lives.
Anyways, what else? I love music, going to concerts, and having fun. *someone please take me to see Wicked* Not really into designer labels or who your daddy is. I think these LA people have a thing to learn about priorities in life, God, family, and tailgating at football games being the top 3. I'm obsessed with Cheerios, frozen yogurt (not pinkberry), and chocolate (and I've recently discovered hummus and tofu). I'm also looking for a man that doesn't want to break God's heart (preferably one that is an amazing cook, bonus points if you own a restaurant...sorry, i'm obsessed w/cooking these days). You know him?
***don't get your news from the tv or the paper. the real news is on talk radio. If you really knew what was going on in the world, you wouldn't be able to sleep at night. I'm Republican, get over it. Less gov't and lower taxes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
