1. "GenieDon The Cafe Recorder Broadcite Reciter" is a Mc, a
Producer and a Web Designer who resides in the South West
of London (TOOTING). This brother lives, breathes and bleeds
hip-hop.
2. GenieDon is one of the founding members of Cafe Recordings,
the well known UK Hip Hop label which has been going since
1999 till now, visit the Cafe website to hear the latest tunes,
releases and news.
3. GenieDon is a busy boy trus me!!!!. He has now just started
his own imprint called Ruggard Studios with his album and
mix CD being the first release on this imprint watch out for
this space.
4. GenieDon is part of the Uk Hip Hop group, Thee Absent who
are signed to Cafe Recordings. They have been recording
together since the mid 90s, the other members are Anitdote
and Valu. They have featured on various Cafe E.Ps and
released the banging AA 12 inch release Magic Mondays /
The Gym. A long awaited album is in the works at the
moment.
5. GenieDon is part of the super group called Bladerunners.
He linked up with these 2 well known spitters in the UK game,
B-Sharp (Radrec) and Creamo (Frostbitten) to form the group.
Watch out for the L.P and E.P releases this summer from both
these Mc's, I'm Here Now and The Creamolation. Bladerunners
are planning release an album together this summer so get
ready folks.
6. GenieDon has been into Hip Hop since he's been a likkle yout
his main influences are the likes of Kane, Rakim, Nas, Krs1,
Ultra, London Posse, Native Tongues, Slick Rick, Demon Boyz,
Juice Crew, P.E, Hijack, Common and most of the current crop
of Mc's in the Uk Hip hop game now.
7. GenieDon has other likes apart from Hip Hop. He loves to
get down with sounds ranging from Funk, Old Old Soul and
R&B, Reggae, Ska, Grime and Experimental Sounds. Watch
for his experimental project its mad trust me.
