About Me

..Hello to all!!----I'm a happily married, fun-loving American male that loves to write and play music! ---------- I have been playing drums and piano for 25-plus years, and love music very much. Throughout my life, I have played in Rock bands, and met Daphne and my friend Kevin at pretty close to the same time. Kevin and I were like two peas in a pod, always playing in bands together. It is great to be involved in the local scene, as I have been writing music for years and years. I really enjoy writing and performing with the band Frantic Radio Beings (FRB). ---I like to write about life around me, and about friends experiences, and about conversations I eavesdrop on in public. Anything that stirs something inside of me, I will write about it. ----------I'm married to Daphne, a wonderful lady that toally supports my drumming habits. Heck, she even sings in my band!! How cool is that? I am the luckiest shmuck in the world! If you wanna talk music or drums, hit me up! I know that I am a lucky man, and I constantly strive not to take that for granted. I believe that the Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away, so you should always be glad and count your blessings.--------I have a somewhat "bent" sense of humour, and sometimes it puts people off a little bit, and sometimes I can get a little loud or obnoxious, but I guess my friends just deal with me because they know I will NEVER stab them in the back and that I will always be there for them.-----Wanna be my best friend? Just ask!!!!!-------------------I am also into poetry and love Sylvia Plath, Stephen Spender, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, ee cummings, and many others.

My Interests

I am a drummer at heart. I also love to play piano and synths. I fancy myself as a songwriter as well. I also enjoy Thai, Japanese, Italian, Indian, and yeah, American food as well. As far as synths, programming, and recording go, I use Sonar, Reason, Acid, Sound Forge, and a ton of plug-ins and sub-programs as well. My main synth workhorse is the Yamaha MO8. I play DW (Drum Workshop) drums, simply because they are the best-made and best-sounding drums in the free world.

I'd like to meet:

Gavin Harrison, Stewart Copeland, Nick Mason, Vinnie Colaiuta, Josh Freese, Terry Bozzio, Alan White, Phil Ehart, Ian Paice, Jeff Porcaro (RIP), Will Champion, Dominic Howard, Sam McCandless, Joey Castillo, Larry Mullen Jr., John Bonham (RIP), Jason "Son Of Thunder" Bonham, Rick Allen (A true inspiration to all us drummers), Jose Pasilas, Steve Gadd, Bill Bruford, geez, this list could go on FOREVER...

Still poignant older songs

Everybody has different taste in music.  Some of us like a little of everything, while some of us have a more focused and less eclectic preference.  I fall in the everything category.  ...
