Faith, Truth and Music …
Faith – "And without faith it is impossible to please God"
Searching for a purpose in life Julio found his faith and his calling. His faith in Christ has brought him to where he is today and though his life has not been free of hurdles; Julio thanks God for the path he has allowed him to walk.
Truth – "Then you will know the Truth and the Truth will set you free"
Julio's music reflects this journey in faith and he aims to share this truth with listening ears. His music comes from his life and his life belongs to God.
Music – "My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music"
Julio simply wants to pour out his heart and honor God through his music.
Julio Gabay was born and raised in Florida to Cuban parents. Growing up, Julio spent most of his free time involved in acting, and singing in school and church choirs. However, it was not until later in his life that a calling for music would arise. After his journey in faith Julio began writing music. He later led worship at a local church where his father was the pastor. Today Julio and his wife Barbra are members of Calvary Chapel Kendall and Julio avidly serves in the worship ministry. He has traveled the world visiting more than 20 countries and although his native tongue is English, he is also fluent in Spanish.In 2007 Julio started recording his Christian Rock project with acclaimed producer Andres Dalmastro and guitarist Rudy Santayana. In December of 2007 Julio and his wife founded Gabay Enterprises, Inc.; a publishing company.Without a doubt, Julio's sound is unique and refreshing. Julio's vision is to take Christian music beyond the church walls to introduce faith, truth and good music to the world!
