About Me

My new name is Mrs. Christina Coe aka Crisco for short... gotta love it.So it's officially been a year Lee and I have been married. Time goes by when you are having fun... It seems like it just flew by. This February will mark a year we have lived in Georgia. We love it here. Autumn was just amazing this year, maybe since it's my first Fall since I was 10. And back then you really don't appreciate it like you do now. I find myself just mesmorized by the trees. But now they are all turning bare. Which is pretty too. The weather is finally cooling down and we now have to wear sweaters and jackets, which I like in a wierd way. I guess cause I didn't have it for so long. Soooo I made my first Thanksgiving dinner... cooked my first Turkey. Just to let you knoe..... I didn't burn anything! And all of the food came out amazing. Made way too much food, but I fed everyone and gave them doggie bags for home. All in al it was a small crowd and very intimate. We had a very nice Thanksgiving.Married life is no different yet? That seems to be the question of the day... I mean if I didn't live with Lee for a whole year before.... then just maybe it would be different. Thought I might add that we had the best wedding ever!! I was so happy to see everyone and have all of our close friends and family be there. I would also like to let everyone know that having a wedding for 120 people and not spend over $10,000 is a REAL possibility. We were able to do it, you just have to find the small short cuts that make the real difference. Don't get sucked into the wedding drama...As for the next question...about the " when are you gonna have babies thing!"... we are currently practicing!! :)- We don't plan on having kids for a few more years- sorry grandpaSo in the midst of all the planning and birthdays my Grandmother passed away. I never even thought that she wouldn't make it to my wedding. But I do know she will be there in spirit. She was the only Grandmother I knew and she will be missed greatly! My Interests

Bowling has become the new hobby... Lee and I finally got our own balls. Everyone else in our bowling circle has gotten there own balls too... I know this sounds very falic. We will eventually be on a league but for right now... we have our own league. Love to cook, especially bake. But the crappy thing about it, is I haven't baked in months... trying to keep the pounds down for the wedding! But once that goes down... I'm eating all of the cookies! Like to read and go to Barnes and Nobles. I really enjoy going to the beach. Sometimes I run to it since I live so close!

I'm a TV junkie... Love the Food network and HGTV. Go to bed with them every night. Like watching UFC and boxing. Absolutely LOVE Bravo and AE. They have the best shows... 48 Hours, Cops, Cold Case Files... Starting to get in to Court TV too. Who can't get enough of the Animal Planet and Discovery Channel... just to name a few... : )

Books:

Everyone HAS to read 'FASTFOOD NATION' one of the most insightful books of our time!!! I know the movie is coming out, but the movie is not a documentary, it is a fiction movie that is loosely based on the book. so please read this book. I no longer eat red meat from any fast food companies... and that's hard for me to say... I am a true cheeseburger queen!!!
