Ave try to lyrically raise classic themes to a spiritualistic, dreaming level.They create compositions which vary from imaginative & condensed themes to acoustic elements with an inward-looking search and sudden vigorous explosions.This way -smouldering in the underground- Ave create their own soundlevel. Crackling sounds, treble strings & voice makes the 17'th century's classical style come alive in a new updated version.When playing live Ave use accessories inspired by the 1930'ies. The listener is thrown back into a comfortable thirties jazzclub-style - yet with music from quite a different universe.Their latest EP is entitled "Follow your Saint". This is a contraction of the visuals used live for the song "Endless Light" by Ave. Starring Anna and made by Justin Ulbrichsen

Influences: Events, life, family, childhood or the lack of it, danny elfman and the splendid univers of tim burton, steve reich, radiohead of course, bartok the works for piano and orchestra, Tschaikowsky, Igor Strawinsky l'oiseau de feu, led zeppelins physical graffity and the song remains the same, and the fantasm of Joanna Newsom, Björk, John Coltrane for sure, and the sound of the new york jazz vibe present, kurt rosenwinkel, portishead, the flaming lips, everyone on our top friends list and many more
