Wow!! These guys have been through it all...Life, Death , Addiction , Girls , Games , Gaines and Losses!!! Pre - Dandy Warhols and Everclear they came from Portland with a dream and failed...One of the first bands to be signed to TK Records/Sup-Pop/Could have been Capitol etc.etc. Spawning from the bands POISEN IDEA, LOVE ON ICE, BODY BAG, GARGOYLE and??? PICKLEHEAD set out to prove that rock'n roll is alive and well ....But they took it a little to far!!! Heroin addiction, Alcoholism and Insanity plagued them...After doing many shows , tours, TV shows and hemp festivals with the direction of Calvin Walker they just couldn't keep it together...The chemistry of this band was amazing!!! In the studio they were unstoppable and live shows were something to be witnessed!!! But the inner turmoil that was burring behind closed doors was their demise!!! After many attemps to keep it together and band members dying off and checking themselves into clinics they had no choice but to hang it up or move on!!! PICKLEHEAD was the dream that is a dream...That could have been... But never materialized...Some of them remain in Portland and are doing well...Others have crossed that other side that we all will cross someday!!! Just listen and you will hear the heart that was...PICKLEHEAD!!!
