Why is 6 afraid of 7?!?!
I'm working on getting to a place where I waste less time trying to live up to everyone else's standards. Let people think what they may. I try to keep a positive attitude through everything, the best I can. That being said, I'm a mix of a lot of different things. I like to play and watch sports yet I like to get dressed up and go out. At times I may curse at annoying Jersey traffic yet other times strive to be a good role model for my students. I love the rush of driving fast yet I know when to follow the rules, well sometimes. I want to ride through mud puddles while driving a 4 wheeler yet put my make-up on in the mornings. I want to be the one driving the motorcycle and at other times holding on in the back. I want to be sarcastic and joke around yet I want the serious moments from time to time. And countless other walking contradictions that make up who I am which of course I am still figuring out.

Peace. My life's passion. Pacifist to the end. My heart hurts for those suffering.

Things to like: school, my students, teaching, making a difference, spontaneity, music, amusement parks, carnivals, sports, motorsports, watersports, driving fast with all the windows down and the music blasting and no one on the road for miles, architecture, photography, traveling, going out, having fun, dancing, watching bands, parties, pumpkin picking, apple cider donuts, hay rides, haunted houses, jumping in piles of leaves, hot chocolate, snowball fights, tubing, running through sprinklers, anything involving water, watching thunderstorms and standing in them, cliff jumping, shows, movies, opinions, education, lessons, conversations, debates, devil's advocates, true friends, good people, trust, honesty, letting go, smiles, random acts of kindness, simplicity, diversity, tolerance, passion, angels in every sense of the word, a bright blue sky, a warm bright sun, stars in the country, lights in the city, trees to climb, hikes across streams, through trees, and over mountains, sand dunes, green grass, fields of daffodils, lakes, rivers, and oceans to glide your fingers through, playgrounds with swings, walks and talks, adventures, and imagination.

She didn't want to play the role of the fool again, won't be fooled again. One could do worse than be a swinger of birches. And then my heart with pleasure fills and dances with the daffodils. Let criticism motivate you. Patience never was one of your true virtues.
