Born in Long Beach California and raised in San Bernardino county, Q-Dubb was nurtured by a musically inclined family. 'It was the best thing for me. To be in a household were my mother, uncles, cousins and most of all my brothers, were so immensely talented, it was a benefit in my upbringing and molded me into the artist I am today.' Citing musical influences as vast as Bob Marley and The Wailers, The Beatles and rapper Common, it would be one summer that the young MC would find his voice in Hip-Hop. He keeps your hands on the rewind button', states Jason Sams, CEO of Emmaculate Entertainment. Building on the buzz created, Q-Dubb quickly pounded the underground circuit with guest appearances and mixtape releases. He has recorded stellar verses on Anterluz's 'Preciseness-EP' and 'Grimey Hour Mixtape', as well as, the first single 'War' from The Black Connection's 'The Blessing' project.
Q-Dubb now stands poised as he's set to release his opus 'Locked Doors'. 'This CD will embody so many styles unheard of, with an impact on high and low level words. Its endless whats going through my mind when I'm feeling a beat. It's curtains!' Q-Dubb will also be releasing a mixtape of his underground classics as well as new material. 'Q-Dubb is a blessing to the game right now. The complete MC, rhymes, flows, delivery, a ladies man, and a golden voice', laments Illustrious, one half of the production duo The Black Connection, who will handling production duties on 'Locked Doors'. The talented MC has also aligned himself for his future goals such as beginning a recording company, completing the 'Q-Dubb/Anterluz Project', and writing and producing R & B acts.
