Hello, hello!! Hope you get a small glimpse of what I like and who I am. I'm a young, life loving woman... CHICANA to be more specific! I go to CSULA, love to read, learn, meet people. I love motorcycles... anything less than 100 mph is a waste of a bike. lol! (my favorite: Suzuki 750 GSXR), favorite color is Orange, Sushi, sports, I have found a new love for the DODGERS!! I enjoy art, reading, writing and movies. Dinner, drinks, music.. I enjoy doing things from one extreme to the other as long as I'm having fun and with those that mean the most to me. I pride my self on becoming an educated and empowered Chicana. To someday be in a position to help other Chicanas so they can see that they can do for themselves and each other. I know many people but spend my time mostly with family or a handful of those I really trust and feel they really know me. I'm a writer, it's the one thing in my life that is all mine. My memories, my feelings, my pain, my happiness... I can't be told that what I write is wrong. I enjoy sharing my experiences and helping others through them. I'm hoping to get a minor in women's and gender studies. It's not about being feminist! lol! It's about understanding the roles we fill and why. Is it society, culture, genetics or a combination of all? This goes for all...not just women. I'm all about empowerment and education. Let young women know they have choices and don't have to feel bad about their choices if it's what makes them happy. That they are hot, sexy and beautiful no matter what they choose to be. That they can enjoy being virgins or sexual, skinny or thick, housewives or career women, get married or stay single, have children or not, work in an office or a strip bar...whatever they do they are free to do as long as it is what their heart desires and are not ruining their lives or those of others. That they are not doing it by force or obligation. That they are to be respected whatever they choose to do. That because they fall out of what is the norm of a woman's role it is not acceptable to beat them, demean them, rape them or kill them. That when they are abused and violated, they should not be looked at as if they brought it all upon themselves.They always say Boys will be boys...then let Women be Women! I am a strong and proud person. I don't allow anyone to get in the way of my goals and happiness. If you want to walk beside me great just don't stand in front of me because I will get around you. I have made it around every obstacle...big or small!
