Hollywood often produces total shit, so I usually stick to Indie flicks, unless it's one of my favorite directors: Oliver Stone, Wes Anderson, Darren Arnofsky, and of course, anything that's Kubrick.

Most of the time I read How-To's, Texts, and Non-Fiction books to keep the brain from rotting. I occasionally pick up a novel for fun. Learning is my recreation. Fiction I've read semi-recently include the collection of the 5 novels Charles Bukowski wrote: Ham on Rye, Post Office, Factotum, Women, & Pulp.
My Number 1 book of all time would have to be 1984.
Lately I have picked up Michael Crichton again. I have read his books in the past and have always appreciated them for their intertwining storyline and page turning qualities. I also feel his books are filled with interesting facts about the world today, yesteryear, and the possible paths mankind may be steered.
