About Me
Alright so here's my bio for any of you people checkin out resumes and backgrounds...
I was introduced to the world of tattooing by my father who at times dabbled in the application of hand poked tattoos. At the young age of 5, I received a small tattoo from my father along side my older brother ShowMeEyes (whom was 7 at the time!) and "La Maya" (my older sis). This moment in time was cemented and rooted deep in me and had paved the path to my destiny. My brothers Ricardo and Gilbert were also great artists,i clearly remember them drawing and i would just be amazed at how great there art was compared to my stuff, for some reason the pencil did not stay in there hands and i guess i carried the torch,They really inspired me to want to develope and keep trying,Around the age of 12 I was knocking out hood tatts on all my lil homie's around my neighborhood. The tattoos lacked quality but earned me respect among my peers. The years would pass and while in my teens, I was deep in the game with the tattooing. I was the dude who was blasting every one under age in the fuckin garage! That shit was sick. I stuck with it and blossomed way later down the road. I began to study all the slick tat-2 work in mags and gained a lil influence from those images. With no one to guide me or take me under their wing I had to learn by trial and error.
Somewhere in my early 20's my lady hooked up a professional rig and I was finally fillin fresh with it! I was still working in the garage but the work was taking shape I was starting 2 check some cash. Finally, in 98 I landed my 1st real studio gig at San Jo's "Pierce Ink" studio and I really acquired some good "know how" instruction from Martin Robertson. With the knowledge I received my tattooing started to take shape. My art influence's are based on such as Jesus Huelguera, Cordova, ignacio gomez, David Rodriguez, Teen Angel, Exotica, and Jose Posada. These artists had a big part in the way I tried to execute my tattoo art. Being Chicano, I was surrounded with all the Lowrider, Prison arte, Catholic icons and the oldies were always good 2 draw to. I still use and practice some of those images today but consumer beware: you have these "wankstaz" claiming the fame trying to imitate the style.Dressing in a pair of creased levi's and wearing chucks don't make you a gangster, but your allways gonna find those who have the high heels and the matching purse..If it aint from the pistolero viejo familia it aint the real deal ya fill ,shots out to all the raza tattoo artist who still keep our heritage alive and kicking ,such as,Mr abraham ortega, chono gardunio,og roger de gilas, picaso, sleepy g,san jo's famous og oso, spray, cartoon,og abel, paco excel, the crew of good time charlies, por vida tattoo, and any others doing the daily grind,I have come full circle and now embrace all sorts of artwork from around the globe,Ive let various cultures and traditions shape my artwork.I love the japanese style, american and neo traditional, neo azteka, gangster fine line line black & grey, vibrant color works,I stay to myself and only roll with those that i would die for, that number has dwindled so fast and its good to let those anchors finally sink to the bottom..if your interested in getting some nice black and grey or some solid color work hit me up and lets get things in motion, most of my tattooing has a $70 minimum and i charge $150 hourly for all works...please be advise i stay booked at a minimum of 2 weeks in advance and require a $50 deposit for artwork on small pieces and $100 for larger work like sleeves and back pieces.I know longer apply gang numbers or initials or any negitive images that may invite harm or death or validate one as a gang member,i believe in karma and energy,i refuse to do these works because i personally believe it only helps senseless aggression grow and develope, most people who do apply these images have never even been involved in the web of violence and cannot fathom the repercutions that these tattoos and affiliation come with, please be carefull of what you decide to put on your body the things we may like now may not be the things we might like 10 years from now,..tattoos are long term body modifications so make it count-1 love..I got a good woman who has blessed me with 3 children, shes my one and only co-pilot and shes stays in my corner when all else failed who else but god and my lady were there to save me..I finally found sumthin 2 live and die for....familia.
