About Me

Hi All,
Thanks for stopping by my page!
As you go through my page take note that in addition to studio sessions, I am also available for live PERM or SIDEMAN/FILL-IN work as guitar, bass, vocals and/or pro audio tech.
NOTE: Since MySpace no longer allows Project Playlist (where most of my music samples formerly resided), I'm posting these links as a work-around for you to hear samples of my work as composer, producer, guitarist, bassist, engineer and MIDI programmer (except where noted).
Also of note, all vocal tracks are performed by either Stacey Scerbo or me.
I'm thinking you should be able to guess which one of us is which :) ...

=============================================
OK, So here's some history about me...
I'm a seasoned veteran in the music industry, logging in 30-something years as a live and studio musician (guitar, bass, vocals, percussion, MIDI), composer/arranger, engineer, producer/music director and equipment tech. I own a project studio and rehearsal space, complete with state of the art equipment, software and peripherals. I've also had successful businesses in recording, pro-audio, and am also currently a luthier, and freelance audio consulting specialist.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, I was first taught jazz guitar by my dad starting at age 3, and was playing my first paying live function and studio dates at age 11. I began writing and producing originals in 1974, mainly influenced by the styles of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Beatles, Kiss, Led Zeppelin, Tony Rice, Jeff Beck and Ritchie Blackmore. Through my teens I was quite busy with multiple bands - exploring the styles of rockabilly, bluegrass, reggae, fusion, latin, southern and progressive rock. By 1979, I was recording, producing and touring in the NY Tri-State area rock, punk and new wave scenes with several regional and national acts.
My first indie label releases were "Eau Savage" in 1980 with Maxwell, then "Did You Kiss Him Goodnight" and "Stop" 1981 (with local favorites Maid To Order).
By this point, my playing and songwriting styles began to be heavily influenced by Al DeMeola, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Peter Gabriel, EVH, Ozzy Osbourne, Jaco Pastorius, Billy Sheehan, Rudy Sarzo, Sting, Gene Simmons, Marcus Miller, Dennis Murphy, and Tony Levin.
I continued to record and produce in the studio by day and play live at night through 1990, when I also opened my first project studio.
In 1991, I relocated, studio and all, to Southern New Hampshire. Since then I've been performing with, producing, and composing for several local and regional artists, (Flaming Steel, Blooze-Revue Boyz, Blue-J-Max, Deaf Child, Vee3, Wasting Daze - to mention a few) as well as being on call for several regional business function organizations.
My most recent original music airplay has been in 2001 with Vee3 ("No Space For Rent" and "The Journey Back" on Rock101-FM/Manchester, NH and 2006-2007 with "Midnight Falling" ("Beautiful Pearl" and "Spiral") on 95.9 WATD-FM, MA.
Currently, through my collaboration with co-writer & vocalist Stacey Scerbo , combined with my wide musical influences and broad industry experience, my musical voice has been given the wings to soar to infinite heights yet undiscovered.
And since we've added drummer extraodinaire Kevin Therrien to the "Midnight Falling" line-up, all that's left is to find a bassist, second guitarist and/or keyboardist. Seems like a lot of MIA players, but not to worry - it doesn't stops us from playing live... ;)
Let's just say experience technology have given us some tricks up our sleeves for a killer live show!
And once we're through production of our next CD - then we're seriously off to the races - even as a classic power-trio+vocals configuration!
We are all itchin' to get out there and satisfy your many requests for us to rock your worlds live again, so we'll be comin' atchya as soon as we can.
And look out for our new CD followup to "Beautiful Pearl" (released early 2007) - it will be sure to be sickest you've heard yet!
Be sure to stay tuned and find out what happens next in this epic saga...
