Bro. Kindu Shabazz. 1/3 of the Hip Hop radical Organization known as The Black Anger Movement. A Hip Hop puritan since being introduced to the art of B-Boying in 1978. By 1980 rhyming or emceeing became as natural as breathing. Moving to Germany in 1984 and bringing with him his B-Boying skills he contributed to the B-Boy movement tutoring other army brats as well as young german kids who witnessed American military dependents "breakin" on coble stone for Duetsch Marks. By the summer of '84 Kindu known as KMC back in the day purchased his first set of Technique turntables.nd began rocking basement parties and teen dances at the local DYA (Dept. of Youth Activities). Arrested in 1985 for taggin burners (graffitti art) on government property he was now a bona fide Hip Hop extremist.After ripping mics and organizing with grassroot organizations in the Seattle - Tacoma area (Big Shout to Black Family Foundation, Seattle Kwanzaa Planning Committee, Kemet Temple, Nation of Islam 'Muhammad Study Group', Pan African Youth Student Movement) Kindu now resides in Prosser City aka Richmond, VA. Father of Mecca and Mutafa Shabazz (1 Love Antman) he is still dedicated to the proper education and liberation of Afrikan and oppressed people. Since moving to Richmond he still remains active. In September '05 he estabished the Richmond Kwanzaa Kollective, organized a Black History Month Lecture Series, which involved such prominent Afrikan Centered scholars such as Runoko Rashidi, and Ashra and Merira Kwesi, and Senghor Baye El of U.N.IA., facilitated Hip Hop 101 Forums at Virginia State University, as well as working with For The People, a Grassroot coalition dedicated to Conscious development of Afrikan people.
