Greetings! My name is Jerry. This page is how I keep up with my friends and my favorite artists. I was born in Canton, Ohio and grew up near Belfield and Dickinson, North Dakota. I have been in Oregon since 1999 and lived in Salem for two years and Eugene since 2001. A lot of people here in Eugene know me from my time working at Venture Data and the Samurai Duck. I've been playing drums and assorted percussion instruments on and off since the 6th grade. I have toured and performed with various bar bands, Head First, Thunder Road and Beggar's Day among others; the Dickinson State University Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Pep Band and performances of Man of La Mancha and Oklahoma; the US Army Band; the legendary drunken improv blues and hip-hop group Bingo Hand Job; the industrial band Dismantled; and the avant garde noise ensemble, Special Edison. During the year in Dismantled we performed with a lot of great bands: Babyland, Voodoo, Hanzel und Gretyl, Hate Dept, Railer, Psyclon Nine and my favorite shows: performing the intro and encores with Pigface and a St. Valentine's Day Fetish Night with Dita Von Tease. In 2004 I hooked up with Ian-dustrial to dj for the weekly Industrial Night at the Samurai Duck, which then lead to the Cinder Circus. Late in 2006 I began booking bands and running sound at the Samurai Duck. In the past two and half years I've worked with a lot of great bands that have played at the Samurai Duck. MDC, The Mentors, The Thrones, Hemlock, Skinlab, plus many hard working touring and local bands of all kinds. Metal, Rock, Punk, Industrial, Noise and Techno: I have a wide range of tastes and work hard to make sure anyone on stage sounds their absolute best.
