About Me

INFORMAL BIO
Who is Richie Rivera?
Brooklyn, New York native, Richie Rivera is a multi-faceted singer/songwriter, working hard to create a name for himself within the music industry. With performance credits in some of the New York Tri-State Area’s infamous venues, Richie Rivera has managed to build a fan base showing continued support throughout the years. His performance experience has included performing as a back-up singer for major artists within the Latin genre as well as performing as a solo artist in both the Latin & English R&B/Neo-Soul markets. In 2005, Richie had the opportunity to grace the stage of the World Famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem, New York, in which he managed to capture his audience and keep himself on top for four consecutive weeks. During the summer of that year, Richie had the opportunity to work closely with, his dear friends, infamous duo, Nina Sky. Complimenting Nina Sky’s musical versatility, Richie Rivera composed a song in the Salsa genre, for Nina Sky, entitled Vamos Amarnos, released on their Mix tape Project, La Conexcion, which quickly made its way across the globe. Vamos Amarnos, which also featured Richie as a performing artist, quickly became one of the mix tape project’s favorite tracks, even earning the song radio play in the New York metro area and other parts of the country. Most recently, you will find Richie Rivera lending his soulful sound to No Te Culpare, the newest single of M.O.B. recording artist, Cuban Link. Richie Rivera is currently drawing the attention of Major Recording Labels such as Sony, Interscope, Motown and Atlantic Records. Doesn’t take much to see he is already a star.
