Well Im not really good at writing stuff about me but Ill give it a try. In case you couldnt read my display name my name is Matt and Im 26 year old single guy from southeastern Michigan. As far as my personality goes Im a laid back guy who gets along with most people. I really try to put a smile on people's faces or to make people laugh. I know it sounds cheesy but putting people in a good mood makes me feel good. So generally I joke around or be sarcastic and come across as a goofball but I do have a serious side, when its time to get down to business I do but I just prefer to take life more lightly and laid back then others which is what I do most of the time. One thing I never really understood was people that always seem to be assholes, walk around with a chip on their shoulders and basically have a "fuck the world" mentality or just look for reasons to start shit. You know those people that go to bars and majority of the time they get in a fight. There's certain instances where I can kind of condone fighting(hurting a friend or family member or messing with your significant other) but alot of people nowadays do it for silly reasons(ie accidentally spilling a drink on somebody, bumping into them accidentally, looking at them wrong and things of that nature) Most of the time it is best to just walk away as cliche as that sounds. Now that Im older and more mature I realize that that stuff can be childish. Life's too short to act like that and hold grudges forever against people. I also have low tolerance for rude people. If there is one thing that annoys me its that. I mean how hard is it to say "Thank You" or "You're Welcome" or "please" or god forbid hold the door open for somebody. Another thing about myself is I tend to keep my feelings, emotions and problems to myself. Depending on your perspective that could be a good thing or a bad thing, I just feel that my problems and feelings should be my problems and feelings and not somebody elses. So if I look noticeably upset or pissed off there is a good chance that I really am because it takes alot for me to show my emotions, but again I dont get like that very often. The most important people in my life are my family and close friends. I care about all of them even though I dont show it all the time because quite frankly Im not always the most affectionate or emotional person most of the time.
As far as my hobbies and interest go sports is #1 for me. I live for them. I love to play, watch and follow just about all of them. Now that Im getting a little older I dont play them as much as I would like to but Im still down for a pickup game of basketball or some football. The two sports I do play alot are bowling and golf, Ive been playing both of them for years and I can say that I still enjoy doing it. Both of them are very hard to master. I also love to learn about things particularly about our history as dorky as that may sound. Im always reading up or watching things pertaining to things like WW1 and WWII and famous presidents of the past. I absolutely love documentaries. I consider myself a pretty knowledgeable person when it comes to things like that and very worthy Jeopardy opponent. I also love going out to the bar or just hanging out with my friends. I normally just go to dive bars or sports bars nowadays I tend to stay away from nightclubs because I feel like Im getting a little old for those plus I like to just chill and not have to deal with the whole party scene but occasionally Ill make a cameo at one of them. I tend to only go to bars or drink on the weekend too because I like to concentrate on work and other things during the week. I can only take so much partying.lol On the flipside to that I also enjoy relaxing at home and watching a movie or something too. Im somewhat of like a child in the fact that it doesnt take much to keep me entertained. Im rarely bored and always seem to find something to keep me occupied whether it be myself or not.
