My son is the most amazing kid I have ever known (not biased or anything lol)! He continually amazes me. My most fervent hope is that I always do right by him. It is so easy to take the people in your life for granted and lose precious time being preoccupied by the little, unimportant things. Needless to say, family and friends are very important to me.I moved to Ocala from Interlachen (FL) in '99 and before that I lived in various small towns throughout FL, KY, & OH.I am (always) in the process of many home improvement projects. Just finished re-painting the living room and hallway walls. I figured after 6 yrs it was time, there is only so many times you can wipe them down. lol Well the floor is tiled and walls are all painted...finished the countertops before I went on vacation just have to cut the pieces for the top of the back splash. (boy oh boy what a mess)! If I'm not knee deep in paint or grout you can find me covered in dirt from adding new plants to my many gardens.I work full-time w/ the County, and part-time w/ Marion Utilities reading water meters. I am (still) taking classes at CFCC working towards an AS in Bus Admin and AA in Psychology (just keeping my options open). It has been a long road but I am getting closer to the end of this leg of my academic journey. Next phase will be classes at UF. I may be 90 when I graduate but I will get there! - I've decided to put classes on hold for a while to put all my attention on helping Mike with his school difficulties. He is such a stubborn child!
