Da Heala entered the urban music scene with brute force. With two chart-topping hit singles under his belt off Massari's debut gold-selling album, he is quickly becoming one of the most sought after producers with his unique sound and undeniable success thus far. Da Heala was born in North York, Ontario, located north of Toronto. At the young age of 2, he moved with his mother to Ottawa before moving again to Gatineau, Quebec where he currently resides. Da Heala comes from a strong musical background. His mother's close friend, a blues guitarist for many years, introduced him to Soul and Blues music at a very young age but it wasn't until age of 15 at a youth center where he began to manipulate sounds and compose music. Da Heala feeds his creativity by listening to a wide array of musical artists from Charles Aznavour to Method Man to Bill Mahers Metalica . When it comes to composing music he draws his inspiration from the current music on the air waves and from the vibe of the artist as well. Da Heala has a natural gift for music, he produced a gold record his first time out the gate. I am confident in anything he does?? says Tony Sal when asked of Daheala's accomplishments. He has never taken a music lesson in his life and self-taught himself how to play guitar, bass and piano. In 2004, Da Heala signed on with Capital Prophet Records as an in-house producer for the Ottawa-based independent label. His production work can be heard on Belly's Death Before Dishonor Vol 2 mixtape as well as 10 songs on Massari's debut album including his 4 singles.
