The Force that is now known as Over the Top Formed in early 2004 combining members of Bury Your Dead, Since the Flood, Halo Suffocation Machine, Year of Our Lord, and Eyes like autumn. Over the past year Over the Top has taken New England by storm with their heavy metallic style of old school hardcore meets new school hardcore, drawing on influences from: Integrity, Buried Alive, Slapshot, Death Threat, Merauder, and, Minor Threat. Since their Inception, Over the Top has released two demos. A three song demo and a 5 song demo, reaching out to kids all over New England, as well as sharing the stage with acts like: Embrace Today, Hoods, Death Before Dishonor, Since the Flood, Seventh Star, The Risk Taken, and 100 Demons. Not only have they shared the stage with big bands, but they tear the stage apart like a big band. Over the Top brings a high energy act to the stage, feeding off the crowd, and the crowd feeding off of them, weather it be great sing alongs, down to throwing guitars around, straight up to some of the hardest dancing parts since the glory days of Victory Records. Over the Top has proved to be a force to be reckoned with, and prove this by their ever growing fan base, and their non stop show schedule.
