My Full name is Derrick Lee Burgess. I was Born in Lake City, South Carolina...Moved to Greenbelt, Maryland as a child where, as a senior at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, I was an all-state selection at outside linebacker...Collected 102 tackles, four sacks, an interception and returned a fumble recovery for a touchdown that season, earning me team MVP and defensive player of the year honors...Selected to compete in the Chesapeake Classic all-star game that year...Also earned two letters in basketball, averaging 18 points and 11 rebounds over my junior and senior seasons...Hosts football camps in his hometown of Lake City in the summer.I also works out at the University of Mississippi occasionally in the offseason.
