Life doesn't run on cruise-control...keep your eyes on the road!!!

About Me

Even though my roots are in the Louisiana bayou, ever since I left the crib I've been bouncing around all over the place and lovin every minute of it--a few years in TallyHo Florida, a few months in Manhatten, a few in Vegas, a few in Uganda, a stop in Nairobi, and now good ol-Bean Town! My perspective folks: life's all about being passionate about something (anything music, medicine, kids, whatever), grinding hard for it, having fun along the way, leavin room for self & family, creativity, spontaneity, and never losing sight of Him! That's all there is to it....

7/3/06: "BlackTide" Yatch Party @ NYC. Folks came from all over the states for this sophisticated throw-down...it was well worth it!
7/10/06: Day 1 of my surgery rotation @ Mt. Auburn Hospital and BIDMC...hello scalpel, good-bye sleep.
7/16/06: The Brand New Heavies & Van Hunt in concert @ the Middle East in Cambridge. Not all music artists are performers...these folks being the exception. The perfect mix of energy & soul!

8/18/06: Whoa...never thought I'd be listening to un-edited versions of Jigga's & Biggie's albums while IN THE OPERATING ROOM! These plastic surgeons are a trip!!!
9/29/06: Atlanta Classic (FAMU vs TSU) & EFE Reunion: 11:00 am...at Mass. General Hospital doing physical exams on neuro patients 11:00 pm...in VIP at Club Compound doing physical exams on the dance floor!!!
11/17/06: Harvard-Yale Weekend...never under-estimate how hard the Ivy League can throw down (although seeing cocktail shrimp and wine at a tailgate was kinda weird)! Ten folks crashing at the crib, drinking from 11am to 11pm, and sweatin' more at the club than at the gym!!!
1/1/07: New Year's Eve in New York City...never thought I could say a party with a $200 ticket could actually be worth every cent...
2/14/07: First day of obstetrics and gynecology. Not quite how I envisioned spending Valentine's Day...oh well!
