I am really fun! And crazy! And smart! When it comes down to getting it done, I'm totally there, rocking out my nerd glasses and giving 110% to make everything the best I can.
Being good at things is kind of important to me. If I can't do the best possible job, why should I bother doing something to begin with? And I think other people should follow that same philosophy.
Sometimes i'm too much to handle. There are very few people that are cool enough to accept the inner bossiness. lol. But I really am very likeable! I just like things to be MY way. =)
I love to read and write. Short stories are my absolute favorites. I am thinking about being a novelist when i grow up. I really enjoy school, which is lucky because i am really good at school. I know, sounds dorky, but you can learn so much from the people around you and school is definetly a place to meet new crazy people!
I am a big fan of Musicals. Music was always very important to us growing up, and has continued to be important still.
I am really into doing community service. I think that if you have a spare hour, instead of spending it watching TV you could spend it raising money, awareness, or just helping someone else out. The world would be such a better place if everyone would stop paying attention to themselves for four seconds, and think about all the other people out there who need real help. The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life is something that I've gotten involved in over the last few years, and I LOVE thinking of new ways to fundraise, and just have a good time!
Fate has been unkind to me, but no matter what I still think that good things happen to good people who work hard for it. Nothing has ever been handed to me on a silver platter. You need to work for things to feel truly accomplished.
I am a member of the New York Alumni Association of Phi Theta Kappa! GO ZETA! =P Phi Theta Kappa was a big part of my life for a few years. I got alot of wonderful opportunities and got to see some awesome places and people. Thanks to the New York Region for everything you did for us after the fire! You guys are a wonderful family!
I currently work at Mount Saint Mary College in the registrars office. I love it! Its stressful at times, but I really think I belong in a college atmosphere!
