Billy Nightshade

About Me

Billy Nightshade was raised in the woods, fifty miles east of Fargo. Being brought up with one-room school houses and outdoor toilets, taught him to appreciate primitive outlets. He played with seminal northern Minnesota punk band, 'Terminal Intensity', before moving to Indiana and becoming part of the second coming of 'the Gizmos', in 1977. Has since played in different bands across the United States from Maine to California, and still plays the occasional Gizmo reunion gig. Recently cut the cd, "One Take Minimum" and moved his band, 'Billy Nightshade & the Derelicts', to Nashville. They're considering jobs as bus drivers and fry cooks. Or maybe something with less pressure.
