To Kill a Mockingbird, Our Town and a Separate Piece. All of these books aren't just stories either; they have valuble "inside morals" to learn as well. Although the opportunity to read for pleasure around here doesn't come very often, some of my favorites here lately have been these "devotional" books: Boy Meets Girl by Joshua Harris, Unshaken by Francine Rivers, Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis, and also Passion and Purity: Putting you love life under Christ's control by Elizabeth Elliot, Putting on Gentle and Quiet Spirit by Elizabeth George, The Five Love Languages for Singles by Gary Chapman
The all time hero for all of us is Jesus Christ. He DIED for every single one of us and to think that He died for ME so I could live a meaningful life and be in Heaven with Him one day is amazing. All you have to do is accept that He died for us, ask Him to forgive you for your sins and live for Him. That is such a simple thing for us to do after all He went through to save us from an eternal death. He is definitely my hero and I love Him because He has loved me with a love that I could have never imagined.
