Closest Thing to Closure (SPLIT)

Heeellloo to the people who read this! Basically we're in this band from the rock that is known as the Isle of Wight for the love of music and being able to play something that we all love. This is really all that we want to do, the band means so much to everyone in it. So we were all in different bands first off...but eventually they collapsed. So in early 2006 Damien Hackett (Vocals) and Jamie Kennedy (Guitar)formed 'Closest Thing To Closure', from just jamming together with guitars. Then we got Ben (Drums), Andy (Guitar) and Fitchy (Bass) to complete the line-up. So, we practiced and practiced, wrote some songs, played some gigs, and all became fucking good mates! But by summer 06' Jamie had to quit due to the army...which was a sad time cuz not only was the band in a bad state - we were gonna miss the guy! So for like 3 weeks the band came to a halt...due to the fact that we were trying to find a guitarist. But this guy who we new called ROSS, saved the day and offered to fill the place of Jamie. After like 3 practices we were a band again. And it couldn't happen at a better time for we had a mainland gig at Southampton Joiners. So thanks to all the cool people who supported us and came to our gigs, and thanks to some awesome bands accross the seas that help us out a fucking load with gigs! We care about all you guys so much, thank you! And cheers to you for reading this.
As of february 2007, we will not be playing anymore shows, or practising together anymore. We've all had a great year in the band but have decided due to other commitments to go our seperate ways. Thanks to everyone who has given us shows, played gigs with us and most importantly come to watch us! x
