I dunno what to put here really.... I graduated hs, tried to go to college, and got involved in a bunch of internet startups. That kept me gainfully employed for a while, and with gainful employment came apathy towards college. I proceeded to drop out for a while and work, travel around a lot, and ended up right back where I started but slightly less gainfully employed and still without a degree.
So, now I'm 27 and heading back to school to finish up something I started 9 years ago. Was dropping out a bad choice? I don't think so. I've had some really good years and managed to experience a lot of things that I probably wouldn't have had I taken the road more travelled. But it's also really frustrating being this old and looking forward to at least 3 more years of schooling :)
I do a lot of work in the japanese culture convention scene, mainly technical work (setting up audio systems for concerts/videos, etc), which has little to do with my money job (web systems for chemical companies of various sorts).
I'm really into international rock. I guess I like kind of a particular style of rock, which died out in 1998. Kinda that post-nirvana grunge, but HAPPY. I discovered one day that while that kind of music wasn't being made here anymore, it was alive and well in other countries. Since then I became a huge fan of Kyo (france), La Gusana Ciega (mexico), Glay/The Blue Hearts/The Pilllows(japan), Oppenheimer (Ireland) and a ton of other groups.
So yeah, my life in short.
Oh, and my haircolor is in a constant state of flux. Blue/Green/Brown/Blonde/Black/Purple/mix of several are all options and have been sighted in the last 2 years. One of the advantages of working from home :)
I update my livejournal a hella lot more than myspace. Linkage .
