Bio -
Having started MCing at the age of 11, Seth Serrano aka The Wrist, has always had Hip Hop in his blood. Where the hell it came from is anyone's guess, considering upstate NY was hardly the ideal enviornment to jumpstart an interest in Hip Hop music in the early 90's, before Hip Hop was fully accepted into the mainstream.
Once Wrist moved to New Brunswick,NJ he wasted no time getting himself involved in the local underground Hip Hop scene. Tearing open mics to shreds every opportunity he could find, he soon started turning heads. Many took notice, when he took home first place at the Rutgers University annual MC Battle in 2001. Throughout the years, Wrist has opened for and shared stages with many notable Hip Hop acts, such as Pumpkinhead, Lil Sci, Lifelong, Poison Pen, Pack FM,Tonedeff, Blueprint, Dead Prez, J Live, Killarmy, Jaz O, Ali Vegas, We Be Foolish, Immortal Technique, Reef The Lost Cauze, Mr.Dibbs, Brother Ali, Louis Logic, Akrobatic, C Rayz Walz,Juggaknots and the list goes on and on....
Although MCing has always been his focus and passion, The Wrist is far from one dimensional when it comes to his artistry. He has been producing his own tracks and other local acts and friends for years, and even has become one of the most saught after up and comming producers in the California MC Battle scene due to his work on the rediculous Okwerdz debut LP "Random Acts Of Music" featuring such artists as Juice, Chino XL and Tech N9ne. Wrist also has a repuation as a party DJ and used to work the 1's and 2's at parties in New Brunswick.
Currently, The Wrist has begun work on his official debut LP entitled "RECYCLING SUCKS". He is working with producers such as Domingo, J Zone, Illmind, Vanderslice and Bean Uno, and is recording collaborations with RA THE RUGGEDMAN, C Rayz Walz, Pumpkinhead, Okwerdz and more!
