and SPEEDTHEORY
SpeedTheory, formed in late 2004. These down to earth, Wolverhampton youngsters, have made a huge impact on the underground scene, with their very own brand of melodic thrash metal, that takes the rawness, intensity and, most defiantly, the pace of ’Old Skool’ thrash and combines it with the complexity and brutality of modern metal. Having already had numerous high profile, gigs, festivals and tours, with bands such as, American Headcharge, Ill Nino, The Haunted, Breed 77 and Panic Cell, (to name but a few), and with more to come. Top class reviews, for both their debut album ’HIT THE DIRT’ which was released whilst all of the band were still in their teens, and also for their high energy live performances. They have received top 5 rankings in both, best newcomer and best unsigned readers polls in TERRORIZER MAGAZINE & won Demo of the Year in METAL HAMMER as well as cover mounts on BIG CHEESE and METAL HAMMER where they also had an incoming feature ,In Nov 06 The played DAMNATION Festival & BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR festival in 07, where they went down a storm. In the autumn 07 they had a their 1st Headline UK tour and a very successful UK tour supporting Panic Cell. This has helped them secure endorsements from WARWICK, PEAVEY, ESP Guitars & GHS STRINGS. In January 2008 they came 2nd in a worldwide competition to tour Europe with the Mighty MEGADETH, 08 will also see the release of their eagerly awaited 2nd Album ' BLOOD MONEY 'which was produced by the Legendary James Dunkley(Aiden, Soil, The Rotted, American Headcharge, Sabbatt) and is being mastered by Mr. Alex Guadagnoli (Addiction Crew) and released through Ant Hill Records (UK), with 2 UK headline tours this year ,a support slot with TBA, and a mini Dutch tour planned for later this year and a full European tour support booked for 2009,SpeedTheory are definitely a band to look out for!

ILLUMINATUS
nottingham’s illuminatus are one Spaniard, one German, one Italian and one English gent. their debut album, The Wrath Of The Lambs, is packed with powerful soundscapes, emotive melodies and soaring dynamics, all set strongly against the current trend of ever more brutality and ignorance in underground music. for illuminatus there is no scene; no bandwagon; no fashion war. illuminatus sing about social and political issues and play with pure passion and honesty.following their previous collaborations with producers Harvey Birrell (Therapy?, Ministry) and Pete 'Pee-Wee' Coleman (AC/DC, Black Sabbath), the music of illuminatus has already drawn comparisons to bands such as Anathema and Paradise Lost, earning the band significant acclaim and respect from all sections of the national and international rock/metal press - "some of the most beautiful, moving music since Anathema" (Powerplay), "combining brawn with surprising depth" (Kerrang) - as well as frequent air time on shows such as Malcolm Dome's New World Order on Total Rock Radio and ScuzzTV's New Skids on the Block.the band's high impact live performances have resulted in a mass of loyal fans. and despite their unsigned status, it was this energy that resulted in the band supporting acts such as Breed77, Children of Bodom, Dragon Force, Nightwish, Paradise Lost, Saxon and Skindred, as well as several high profile appearances at the UK's Bloodstock and Bulldog Bash festivals. and with their appearance as the only non-US band at the Famecast Finals in Austin, Texas, illuminatus have already achieved unprecedented worldwide exposure.with the release of The Wrath of the Lambs, illuminatus continue to roll out their War Machine. be ready to join the revolution at a venue near you soon!"Melodic, atmospheric, powerful, the foursome have been on the edge of something special for ages. Now debut album "The Wrath of the Lambs" threatens to make them heroes for 2008. Get excited now"

& NEX
Over the last year, Nex have been touring their metallic rock n roll circus around every inch of the country. Audiences across the nation have been subjected to an unholy brew of punk, metal and the hardest of rock that has left more than a few jaws on the floor.Their debut album, released through Rising Records (Mendeed, NATO, Trigger The Bloodshed), certainly impressed Kerrang!, who dubbed it 'Brilliant!' and awarded it KKKK. Metal Hammer followed suit ("An impressive debut" - 7/10), and the band's whirlwind live performance garnered them a rarely handed out KKKKK live review from Kerrang!. Support slots with the likes of Skindred, Amplifier and This Is Menace, along with a UK tour supporting Head Automatica have added to Nex's fearsome live reputation. The band's constant enthusiasm and total professionalism has earned them the respect of venues and promoters nationwide. They have begun to build a loyal and dedicated fanbase, and their sophomore album is keenly anticipated.Drawing on a myriad of influences ranging from, Japanese classical music, modern metal, progressive rock, musicals, punk, pop and more, 'A Clockwork Heart' is the soundtrack to a movie yet to be made. Mixed by Chris Sheldon (Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro), the new Nex sound will take you on a journey like no other…
