A group of frequencies which manifested through human intervention, thus taking form in a onslaught of Dark Esoteric Black Death Metal. Desolate Realm is made up by current and past members of Devoured Alive, Promisques, Terra Noir, Necropsy, The Obliterate Plague, Beyond This Flesh, Necrophacus and a few other collaborations beyond and within the Zion Curtain.
Desolate Realm is the eye that gazes into the metapsychosis. The place which awaits the confused ones which long for a bleak solitude. A place where one seeks wisdom in mass of formlessness. A parallel world where everything you are not exists. The Desolate Realm is a utopia of happiness and pain, where trees are but flesh shedding their skin of life (death) and embracing their demise. It is that place where everything and nothing exists at the same time, as it was thought, so it was. To die and to live is to venture the Desolate Realm. Seek this place for it lies within. It calls for thee and scrambles in a strange frenzy. It is lonely and wonders how you were led astray.
