Gary “GizDinero†Grossett
Entertainment SpecialistGary Grossett was born on Jan. 18, 1984, in Allentown, PA. Gary is a bass guitar player, producer, manager, public relations consultant and a party/concert promoter.
Gary started playing the bass at the age of 15 in church. Gary has sang and played bass for his own church's youth choir. Gary has also played for the Temple Gospel Choir, as well as other local talent.
Gary went to high school at Franklin Learning Center where he was a College Prep major and a Music Instrumental minor. He has thus went on to further his education at Temple University where he started out as a marketing major, he later changed his major to legal studies, currently Gary is an Broadcasting, telecommunications, and mass media major.
Gary has studied music at the Gibson School of Music and Art, under the direction of legendary Philly bass player Rick Tate (R.I.P.); he has also been privileged to be mentored by producer James Poyser (Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Musiq, etc.).
Gary has interned with Hidden Beach Recordings (Jill Scott), A Touch of Jazz, Inc. (DJ Jazzy Jeff), and attorney Simon J. Rosen (Cassidy). Gary is now managing a number of local artists, KO (rapper), Mark Carter (R&B), China (R&B), and Kaboom (rapper).
Gary is also in negotiations with Bloomsburg University to host a major concert featuring G-Unit, Cassidy, and other local hip-hop artists. This is a new endeavor for Gary, but he is very confident that his skills, will, and determination will allow him to have success in this new task.
Gary has had experience in several different aspects of the entertainment industry; in fact his range is so wide it is nearly impossible to classify what he is and what he does, because he does so much. In light of Gary’s experience and education and resilience to settle for “just being happyâ€, Gary came up with the title “Entertainment Specialist†to try and categorize his God-given talents in a world that dwell so heavily on titles. Gary has very high aspirations to achieve the success, and word "failure" is not in his vocabulary.Gary is also available for speaking engagements on the Music Business. For more information on Gary and his endeavors go to:
