I live life for the good times and try not to waste time on things that aren't worth the worry. I think of myself as a creative person, I don't think logically most of the time but life can be more interesting this way. I will always choose the scenic route.
My chosen career is graphic design. Art was always my thing in school but I made a slight diversion and studied graphic design at uni, thinking it was a more likely path to a job afterwards than, say, fine art. It seems that was a logical decision at least because I did get a job pretty quick! I loved every minute of uni and made so many great friends there. My current job isn't as creative as I thought it might be, always working to meet deadlines and not having time to develop ideas as much as I'd like. However, you have to make the most of these things. I still paint and draw occasionally in my spare time.
When I'm not working I like to be as active as possible, playing football (for my local team Hay St. Mary's), tennis, kayaking, running, cycling and recently going to the gym. I spend so much of my time listening to music (thanks to my iPod), mainly indie pop and rock and watching films that make me think for a bit. I love YouTube! I also enjoy the odd game on the Gamecube and PSP, stuff like Monkeyball, Mario Sunshine, Mario Kart, Pro Evo and Loco Roco. All this leaves little time for reading books but I should read more! No excuses really when you live in the Town of Books!
I love to travel. Recently I've visited Hamburg, Vienna, Prague, Venice, Florence, Rome and went skiing in Vale d'Aosta. I want to go to South America soon and then Australia, New Zealand and Japan.I like to spend as much time as I can with my friends. It's just a shame a lot of my favourite folk live quite far away so it's impossible to see them all as much as I'd like. I'm single at the moment and have been for quite some time, I don't mind it but it would be nice to find somebody soon. Trouble is I'm usually just too shy say anything!
