Some days you feel like $10,000 dollars. Other days its just ten bucks. Travis is a dj who wants everyone to feel like $10,000 when he comes to the party. As a matter of fact, thats why he calls himself S.P. Chase. Mr. Chases picture and signature are on the ten thousand dollar bill, and Travis wants to put one on his wall someday. But his dream isnt only money. Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Travis had a love for music at an early age. He went to parties with his dad who was also a dj. At school his friends turned him on to hip hop. In high school he would skip 2nd hour to go to his local music store, waiting for the doors to open to be the first one to get the new cd, only to bring it back to school to share with classmates. Today Travis plays electronic music that includes such styles as Bangin, Funky, Filtered, Disco, and Electro. He spends as much time as he can at local events, passing out his dj mixes and building his street credibility. Travis believes the secret of happiness is mainly in sharing, and he likes to share music the most. Of course, it would be nice to have a few S.P. Chases laying around, but, without the real thing, its simply nice to feel like ten thousand dollars anyway.
