About Me

Currently residing in New York City, Christopher Manik is an upcoming producer DJ that breathes Electronic Dance Music. Graduating from school in 2007 with a degree in Music Business, Christopher is not by any means your typical artist.
Being heavily inspired by a diverse and comprehensive musical background, Christopher's style is a unique blend of fierce techno and deep minimal grooves, along with dark & edgy progressive sounds. After a strong 2008 of highly sought after releases, Chris's signature style has captivated fans of all genres in the dance music spectrum. With production guns blazing and an enormous amount of new dj support and major label interest; Christopher is only just beginning to make his mark as a true innovator in the dance music scene.
Also known as Chatterbox in the minimal techno world, his music under this alias has received support from heavyweights like Carl Cox and Paco Osuna. Chris is described as being one of the most focused & active producers around in Electronic Dance Music. Over the past year, Christopher's talents & style have quickly evolved into a class of their own. Having spent countless hours composing both originals & remixes approximating in over 50 titles for 2008 alone; Christopher style leads the pack for the new generation of multi-genre techno producers.
Momentum is continuing to pick up, and it can be definitively shown through Christopher's recent releases on such highly respected label imprints as Harthouse Recordings, Harem, Autist, Definitive Records, & Black Hole. Described as "quiet, down to earth, and mellow", the true craziness of Christopher's personality is undeniably captured in his music. Keep an eye out in 2009 for the next big step in Chris's career.
