Fact 1 - Did you know that without using a tanning lotion during your tanning session, UVA and UVB rays do not penetrate your skin for at least 5-7 minutes? GooD THiNG we have a wide variety of lotions to suit your skin and get you that tan you are yearning for!
Fact 2 - Did you know that in order to get the best looking, deepest, and longest lasting tan quicker it's better to rotate periodically throughout all Levels of beds offered at our Tanning Salon? GooD THiNG we have more than exceptional beds, and certified tanning consultants, who know how to properly expose you to our beds to get you the color you want for any occastion!!
Fact 3 - Did you know Membership in the International Smart Tan Network is only granted to salons that commit to the highest standards of excellence and education? To be Smart Tan Certified, management and staff must be trained how to professionally operate the tanning beds in their salon, taught how to utilize the skin typing methods to understand your skin and tan it properly and safely, informed on how to teach clients to tan safely and prevent sunburns from indoor and outdoor tanning, practice the HIGHEST standards of cleanliness and sanitation of not only their tanning beds but also the entire salon, and lastly accept and promote all the principles of Smart Tanning. GooD THiNG we are Smart Tan Certified and PROUD to admit so! Not only do we clean our salon DAILY to insure a safe enviornment for all of our friends, but we understand it's our job to do everything we know and understand to tan you safely!
Fact 4 - Did you know that UVB rays stimulate the production of a chemical in your skin called Melanin, and UVA rays oxidize the Melanin causing you skin to turn brown ... or TAN? GooD THiNG we used this knowledge when purchasing all of our tanning beds. All of our lower level beds have at least 2 UVA lamps, and our highest level has an entire canopy of UVA tanning lamps to give you a very high chance of immidiate color!
Fact 5 - Did you know that while higher levels of UVA rays can result in a deeper, darker tan, too much UVB can cause reddening of your skin? GooD THiNG we understand how to tan you in moderation and rotate you evenly throughout our tanning beds to regulate your exposure to both UVA and UVB rays to prevent burning!
Fact 6 - Did you know that in order to get the most out of your tanning session it's necessary to use a body tanning lotion, a face tanning lotion, and to moisturize at least once a day to maintain your healthy radiant glow? Fact 7 - Did you know that there are Federal Laws prohibiting the use of a tanning bed WITHOUT the use of proper protective eyewear, because your eyelids are too thin to prevent the absorbtion of UVA and UVB rays?
