Michael's Story (by L. Cushing)

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Um... hello.
My name is Michael Malone, and these are my stories. I'm 25 years old currently, but a lot of the stories take place during various time periods in my life. They're really not in any cronological order, though I suggest you start with Mudo, which is going to be published in the Santa Clara Review in February. I'm kinda nervous about that, my story being out there where everyone can see...
I go to the University of Perinthus in New York, for creative writing and music. To make ends meet, I work at a local coffee house called Java the Hut. I took a few years off before going to college.. but I don't generally like to talk about those years.
I like to play guitar, write songs and poetry. And ramble about my life, I guess... though speaking is hard. I'm not a natural conversationalist at all.
Oh.. and there are some that say I am fictional, and that this lady is my creator. But I don't mind that any - if you write to me, I'll write you back. I figure I've got the right to exist, so long as I want to.

My Interests

My First DVD Player

My VCR died this weekend, painfully and without dignity - a tape jammed into its open mouth, still blinking 12:00 mournfully. I was going to buy another one to replace it, but Jules and Mac convinced ...

Thoughts on Marriage

If I was to ever marry Jenny, I think I'd have to change fundamentally as a person. Maybe just to be more optimistic, to believe in the whole 'to death do us part'. I think it requires some suspension...
