I was never born and I will never die because I am an eternal spirit soul part and parcel of Krishna. But in this reincarnation I born Sept.1/1954 I was a huge fan of the Beatles in my youth, and they were the first to introduce me to the holy name of Krishna. Jimi Hendrix also got me looking at reincarnation, and I met the Hare Krishna devotees when I was about 19. I was reading a lot of books on yoga and realized that it was a necessity to find a genuine spiritual master or guru but that was extremely rare on the praries of Manitoba ! Influenced heavily by George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" album, I traveled with the Krishna devotees to meet their guru, Srila Prabhupada in Chicago in 1975 and he made a very deep impression on me.I am in Vrndavana dhama right now and just finished celebrating the Janmastami and Vyasa Puja festivals This will be my longest time in India yet - 7 months.
