About Me
I'm the co-founder of a new group, 51%-A Woman's Place Is In Politics, we're on myspace and facebook, with more to come. I host Coffee & Conversation with Cool Women, a live interview forum. I'm a proud member of the NAACP!I am complexity in its simplist form. Conceived in Spain, born in Germany, on an Irish holiday, brought to America - giving voice to the unspoken. Came from rags to rage, silence to loud flight as a drug fueled family exploded in flame. I result with singed edges, but a golden and loving heart intact. My strength of light leads to evolved, compassionate pursuits that require deep understanding and light-heartedness.My newest loves are aerial arts and hoop dancing. My passions include self-care without being selfish, rallying against racism and aiding the underserved, empowering women as equal citizens, performing spoken word, mc'ing events, publishing writing, Feng Shui consulting, critical thinking, spirituality in all kind forms, dressage and equestrienne sports, the subtle communications between human and domestic and wild animals, being a 'dyke' of many 'expressions, dressing up for breakfast, vintage and fetish clothes, antiques, modeling for film and photography, world-beat and eclectic music and dancing, original rap music with a message, the human condition, hand made gifts, the romance of everyday life and humor that insults no one. The health of the planet concerns me most. Laughing from my gut is a saving grace.Friends and adopted family are prime players in keeping grounded in this increasing world of disjointed connections and lack of authenticity. My loving threads to fantastic friends has woven the safety net that catches me before being lost to American apathy.I believe in Buddha, Spirits and Jesus, just not organized religion, the 'opiate of the masses.' I believe The Creator has bred a bit of beauty in us all and it's our first duty to find it in each other.
