I'm a very big fan of The Explosion. I did two websites for them. One of them (for their Guitarist's solo project) sucked, and the other site never got put online because of record label problems.
I also used to be the Regional/Area rep for Xtaster, who are a Music Promotion Company. I covered a lot of local shows, and did meetups once a month to give people loads of cool, free promotion stuff. I covered Bedford, Northampton, Cambridge and Milton Keynes, so, if you live there, go through to My Bedford/Northampton Area MySpace . All this kinda died out when people got bored of it.
Now, my main job is Stage Management for Bedford Metal . It's a fun job. I get paid to watch loads of really good local talent, and work with a bunch of really cool people. Come to a show and say Hi. I'll be the one running around trying to fix problems and looking generally stressed.
I've now been shortlisted for a job with Stagecoach in Bedford, driving the Blue Solo routes. Hooray.
