About Me

I find few men more appealing than Alan Alda. I try not to listen to pop radio. I look good in hats but have trouble finding coats. For every word I say, there's a word I keep to myself (believe it or not). I dream bigger than my brain allows. I'm a delightful combination of Target and Saks, of Velveeta and Brie, of Nickelodeon and CNN. I'm a poet and a rebel. There's more to me than you want to know.

My Interests

I love Hello Kitty more than anything else. I also love the Muppets and am interested in mouth & rod puppetry. I like pirates, not just because it was my high school mascot or because Johnny Depp is hot (that's just a bonus). I am a Harry Potter nerd and have a recorded newscast to prove it. I am a wonderful poet, currently working on the production of a book entitled Psyche. I like looking for words with 4 consonants in a row, like "birthday." I like talking about gross things I learned while working in the funeral industry. If I had to eat one food for the rest of my life, it would be sushi. If I had to listen to one album for the rest of my life, it would be "Rockin' the Suburbs" by Ben Folds. I love to travel and want to see the world. There's no place in the world I'd rather be than Disneyland. I like wine, politics, and art deco. I like shopping. Psychedelia. That's a good enough sum-up of my interests for now.

You scored as Writer. You are one of the cursed few. Destined to work alone, you are extremely talented but under appreciated. If you're lucky, you may be the next J.K. Rowling.

How Franco-American saved my life.

OK, Franco-American never did that much for me.  I just thought it would be a great title for a blog that will likely be lacking in substance, just like SpaghettiOs themselves. The Huette-Anderson...

A Political Blog

To make it clear from the beginning, I am not following any of the presidential candidates very closely at this time.  While I completely understand the motives of others, I feel it's too soon to...
