May 24, 2006 - Damon gets the keys

Wow, wow wow. You just never know who's out there. This is so cool.

Keith Carbone put this together for us -- so cool -- and like a gentleman, handed over the keys. You rock. I reckon we'll drive it from here, best we can. Thanks, Keith. Also, big thanks to David Hornbuckle , who has been instrumental in keeping us from slipping entirely into the void.

Keith's gracious original bio for us was such:

This is just a fan site. There is tons of info both at www.engine88.net (the official site) including a free download of the album Flies 'N Death 'N Stuff. Then there are more free downloads at Horbuckle.org Enjoy. Engine 88 was a punk rock band in the 1990's. They came from the East Bay (Berkeley, San Francisco) scene. They are on of the most under rated bands of the past 100 years.

How the heck do you know about little ol' us, anyway?

Okay, I've been wondering about something. As lame as this Murdoch-owned piece-o-crap MySpace thing is -- and by that, I mean MySpace as a whole, not anyone's individual page or profile or anything --...

Bottom of the Hill -- GET THERE EARLY

All, I just found out that Engine 88 will be going on either first or second at the show on the 27th. The other band we'll be good-naturedly arguing with will be Carlos, so early attendees win out ei...

Demos

Hey, some folks have asked about demos. There are some demos out there, but they're stashed in a crate somewhere, deep in  someone's attic (maybe mine). You know how that is. I'll ...

Engine 88 at 9Up

Oh, BTW not long ago I stumbled onto NineUp, which has our in-studio session with them. It was really fun, done at a time when we were still pretty good. It includes an interview of us done by one of ...

Woah! Thanks to Keith.

Keith, dude. This rocks. You get big hugs and slobbery kisses for setting this profile up. This is something I've been meaning to do for some time, but have frankly lacked the inspiration and time to ...
