I tend to lean towards my beginnings in Bluegrass as a kid growing up playing banjo & guitar. Set the banjo down for many years and studied percussion and drums. After trying many styles of music from pop to R&B, the banjo called out again for me to pick it back up. Forgetting all along that the banjo is a PERCUSSION instrument! Go Figure...Now in a band called "The Mayflies" (formerly The Letterpress Opry) --- we are gaining steam on the Alt-country/jam-grass circut.
