Thanks for checking out my site. I am an Actor living in Los Angeles. Most recently I finished shooting the new film from Pirate Pictures called SHADOWLAND which will be premiering at the 2008 St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase. (You can see the trailer for it here on my page) It is the story of a young woman who wakes up in a hole in the ground with no memory of who she is or how she got there. As she tries to find her way through the city she has flashes of her in the 1800's. She doesn't know if she is reincarnated or going crazy or what. I play the male lead, Julian, a man sent out by The Church to track her down. No matter what. Once cast I had been put through a somewhat intense trainning period in order to bulk up for the role and learn and be able to do all of the fight choreography.
In the fall of 2004 I moved back to St. Louis from Los Angeles where I shot a short film entitled SEPTEMBER MORN as a Project Greenlight entry film. I have appeared in half a dozen films including the independent film APRIL IS MY RELIGON, the low budget horror/comedy KILLERS BY NATURE by director Eric Spudic and most recently the holiday horror film THANXGIVING from director Bobby Ray Akers and starring Ari Lehman, the first Jason Voorhees (all now available on DVD). Upcoming you will see me in the new Bill Boll film (which is as yet untitled), FALLEN SKYES from John M. Dunlap and a film called FIVE with Jessie Seitze and Apple Worm Productions.
Currently I am beginging production on a new feature length comedy entittled THE ANNIVERSARY which will be written and directed by John Campea, from The Movie Blog which was recently featured on ATTACK OF THE SHOW. It also features white hot Canadian Stand-Up Comic Manolis Zontanos as my best friend Manolis, Julia Voth (Maxim's 100 Sexiest Women of 2009, Maxim's Best things in 2009 Calendar, and the upcoming feature BITCH SLAP) as Shelly, Ryan McGuffey as Myron and Ashley Oxford as Shannon. The film will aslo feature Gavin Grazier (FROST / NIXON, SCORCHED) and Dan Callahan (COLLEGE, SPIDER-MAN 3).
The film is about my character, Cid, who has just been dumped by his girlfriend Trisha of 15 years exactly one year before the story starts. Cid's friends then decide that enough time has passed and it is time for Cid to get back out into the dating world. He is set up on a blind date with Shelly by friends Myron and Shannon. Thinking that Shelly is not really that into him, and not knowing that she really is, he turns to best friend Manolis to help him get set up on a internet dating service. From there Cid goes on a wild ride of dates and self discovery. The script is great as well as just plain funny and the cast and crew are wonderful. Shooting begins on Feb. 2nd 2009.
I have also appeared in over sixty stage productions accross the mid-west including three consecutive years with The Imaginary Theatre Company which is the touring arm of The St. Louis Repertory Theatre. Most recently I appeared as the lead role of Faris in Avalon Theatre Company's world premiere production of LITTLE BOSNIA. Other favorite roles include: Jesus in GODSPELL, Laertes in HAMLET, MacBeth in MACBETH, Bob Cratchit in BAH! HUMBUG!, Lt. Challee in CAIN MUTINY COURT MARTIAL, Chris Keller in ALL MY SONS, George Spelvin in THE ACTOR'S NIGHTMARE, and Jerry in ZOO STORY.
I have been acting since the age of 3 and studied it as well as writing throughout my various school endeavors. In addition I have had some limited basic training in the following: vocal, broadsword and fencing, firearm and Police Procedure and limited martial arts lessons. I am a proud member of both Actor's Equity Association (AEA) and AFTRA.
