Trent the nerd,

About Me

..

Hello all! It's time that I updated my very long 'About Me', perhaps by the end of this, it may even be longer than the previous.

My name is Trent, and I live in the Gold Coast in Australia. Yes, I live in the Gold Coast, but no, I do not surf. I like the beach, but I haven't gone in a very long time.
I'm 16 years old, but I hope that my current choice of career is the right one. You all may think that accounting is boring, but hey, a job's a job. I plan on getting A's every term next year in accounting which would really boost my confidence on choosing accounting as my major for my university studies. I do not have a boring or quiet attitude, I'm quite the opposite, but I'm sure accounting will be fine for me.
I used to do many sports, but as time went on and my asthma got worse, I stopped my former passion: which was running. Although, very recently I have begun to keep fit by doing basic calisthenics's and soon I may even go for jogs. But no, I'm very far from getting over-weight, I'm still technically underweight!
Another thing I enjoy doing to pass the time, vent out my anger, frustration, stress and to have fun is to play Halo 3 on Xbox Live. It's quite fun, but I play hardly as much as I did back a few years ago. If any of you have Halo and Xbox Live, we could play together sometime perhaps.
A relatively recent interest of mine is politics. Even more recently is my interest in Australian politics. I guess I'm more like my brother than I thought! Nonetheless, there is much I have to learn about politics but I hope to at least learn the basics! However my main passion in regards to politics/foreign affairs is studying China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Germany. Quite a few interesting things are going down in those countries, it's just a pity that the media fails to portray it at all over here, I guess it doesn't entice the majority of the Australian populace. I nearly forgot, my favourite subject of all time to research/study is World War II. Just happens that I enjoy studying those nations mentioned before and WW II, I don't like studying them for related reasons!
I personally believe that the idea of communism is the best way for all societies on earth to be run under. However, as humans are flawed and get greedy, communism has never really worked, and most probably never will. But remember, look at the nations that took up communism, all of them were under significant political and economic problems, so how can you expect communism to work perfectly in those situations? Has a nation like the USA or Australia ever taken up communism? No. So until Western nations try communism, people can't say that communism does not work. I kind of rambled on here, oh well.
My current employment status is part time work at Kmart, and of course I'm a student at high school. Kmart is okay I guess, I do some work and I get paid. However, if I didn't have mates like Jack to work with, I would find work to be much more tiresome and boring. But I still love Kmart, because Kmart is where good times start!
I'm on MySpace quite often, so send me a message or comment and I'll reply sometime soon. Unless of course I am busy or unable to access the internet.
On the note of where I stand in regards to religion. I am an Atheist. That does not mean that I don't believe, it means that I believe in no God. I especially like to study Christianity and the flaws in the religion. It's a way for me to know that I made the right choice for myself. Sure, if I found a religion that seemed somewhat scientifically possible, I'd look into it. Although I find that very unlikely, so that is why I'm an Atheist.
I speak fluent English, as it is my 'mother-tongue' and I speak very little Japanese and German. So if you'd like to talk a bit in Japanese or German, we can do that as well. But more than likely I will give up and just start speaking English. I've always been bad with languages other than English. Did you know that women are more likely to succeed in learning multiple languages than men?
On a last note, here's my MSN,

Add me if you want! I'll most probably update my about me another time when I have nothing to do, I'm quite tired now. If you read this, thank you for that and I'm sorry it doesn't actually have a lot about myself.
