About Me

MySpace Menu

MySpace Layouts MySpace Editor Icons Collage MySpace Backgrounds MySpace CodesG'day. My name is Bradley Pickersgill. By day I'm a mild mannered Fire Protection Engineer. By night I like to pretend I'm a musician/songwriter and play with The Gin Club, a country-rock/acoustic/folk band from Brisbane, Australia.Playing in The Gin Club is heaps of fun. I'm truly blessed to share the stage with my best friends and some exterodinarily talented muso's. You can check out our site at www.theginclub.com.You can check out two of my songs, Campus Blues and Travelling Song on our latest CD, Fear of the Sea.When I'm not otherwise occupied, I try to write more songs... and ones that involve more than three chords, but I'm not very prolific, and deadline orientated (a by-product of my day-job).Anyway, I hope you enjoy my space, and that it adds some value to this stupid intermaweb thing. Cos I'm all about adding value.Cheers BP

Influences: I like a whole bunch of different stuff. Some of it I've been introduced to by The Gin Club's resident musical archivist and historian, Mr Ben Salter. Some of it is really gay stuff that I liked when I was younger and never grew out of. In any instance, i like: Crowded House, BRMC, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen, Hootie & The Blowfish, Hunters & Collectors, Mark Seymour, early Neil Diamond, Ryan Adams, Giants of Science, Dire Straits, Neil Finn, Millionaire, Muse, Powderfinger, Tim Rogers & The Temperence Union, Richard Ashcroft, The Verve, Iron & Wine, Papa M, Eurythemics, ahh that'll do for now, I've embarrassed myself enough.
Sounds Like: Someone who's not quite sure of what they're doing. I'm told that I seem to have an odd Australian folk/pop sensibility. I don't see the resemblance...

Calling all MySpace Geeks... your opportunity to add value

So I've just got back from tour and I've decided that my myspace (i hate saying that) design and colour wants to make me puke. Admittedly, my only goal was to get away from the default design, but i'm...
