I have a strange affinity for carved wooden sea captains, glass telephone insulators, wooden joinery, beards, things that float, dreams about God and the Devil, waking up late on Sunday and the hating myself the rest of the day, beer and too much beer, nostalgia, motivation in the fear of death, the art of Puryear, Hirst, and Burden, escapism, womens underwear, working too hard, doing things I regret, trucks, pride, chisels, poetry, watching baseball with Jeff, pretending I'm in tune with whats going on, pool, sarcasm, being passive aggressive, acting like I care, and not caring, pretending I'm "all right", dreaming up ways too eradicate the downstairs neighbors, kitties, me, Shakers, Quakers, and anyone who feels God and moves, sculpture, dangly dog balls, hypocondria, and being haunted.
