About Me

Lets see...I attended Ledford High School and graduated in 1987(I know..Im old). Although I dont really feel like it, I am 39 years old. I am amazed that I am really climbing near 40 years old! I used to think that was "elderly." I have been married to the love of my life for almost 9 years now. Shane, who is my husband, makes me laugh each and everyday. He is truly my heart and soul! We don't have any children but we are the proud parents of 2 cats who think they are human. After graduating high school, I attended Hairstylist Academy in Winston Salem. Soon after that I went to work as a hairdresser and loved it! I worked as a hairdresser for 7 years. In 1995 I was struck by a drunk driver which caused severe back problems. That ended my days as a hairdresser. Currently I work in Real Estate for a Property Management Company based in Atlanta Ga. Its a pretty fun job and money is pretty good so I intend to keep going to work until they tell me to stop.

My Interests

I really enjoy going to movies with my husband. I like to go to Cherokee(Harrahs Casino) and gamble a lil'. I enjoy chatting online and on the phone when my schedule allows it. I love the beach........oh yea.....love it. Theres nothing no better than laying in the sun, hearing the waves and the seagulls! A good day to me is laying in the sun, with a cold bottled water, a radio, and dozing off to sleep, with no alarm clocks and not a care in the world as to who might see you in a bathing suit and NO MAKEUP!

I'd like to meet:

If I could meet anyone, it would probably have to be someone very wealthy so I could ask them for a business loan to open my own movie theatre. .........

Music:

80's hairbands all the way!!!!!!!!! Give me Bon Jovi, Journey, Eagles, AC/DC, Queen and Nazareth! Anything old, I like! Yes...it may seem a lil redneck but I love riding in my car, T-tops out listening to Journey. Im a lil old to listen to it loud these days but it doesnt stop me from enjoying it! OH YEA...ONE MORE THING....this burns my husband up....I still listen to cassette tapes lol. I wont even upgrade to a cd lol!

Movies:

My all time favorite movie is Steel Magnolias. I love it! Me and Shane see alot of movies...I mean alot! So many that I forget what all we've seen! I do have a pet peeve in movie theatres though...people who smack their mouths when eating!!!!!!! Urrggghhhhhh .........

Television:

I really like to watch cooking shows...not that I cook that much but I just like to see people chop, dice and slice things. They make it look sooo easy and whatever they chop is so neat and uniform looking!

Heroes:

My mom and dad..they are such a strong team together! Also, my brother is my hero...he lived life as though there was no tomorrow. Unfortunately, he had too few tomorrows and passed away suddenly at the young age of 31. I miss him dearly!
