J-rok began rapping around 1998. He has opened up for Nas, Dmx, Fat Joe, Paul Wall, Beanie Segal, The Shop Boys, Jadakiss, Freeway, Philly's Most Wanted, Papoose, Peedi Crakk, Major Figures, and Eness. J-rok also has one of his songs in a movie called "Bank Brothers" which is currently appearing on HBO and is also available for rent at Blockbuster and other video rental places. His music has a distinct sound to it. J-rok is a very versatile mc that can also rock a crowd. He considers himself a writer cause he can pretty much write about anything and he makes music that everyone of all ages can relate to. He has a strong passion for music. J-rok has also put out numerous cd's creating a strong buzz and demand for his music locally and around the world.
